This year, Monsterball has been named BULA's Beach Ultimate Travelling Tournament. As part of the event, we're planning an even bigger, better tournament this year. We've expanded the number of teams to 32, and we're adding junior's ultimate to the mix!
When: August 29-30, 2009. A more detailed schedule is here.
Where: Monster, Holland. The tournament will take place in Monster. Accomodation and party are next to fields. Take a look at the map and accomodation details.
Format: Open tournament, but women strongly encouranged to attend. 32 teams, 6 fields. We will once again use a modified Swiss Draw format. Tournament rules are explained here.
Juniors: We plan to have under-seventeen tourney on Saturday and/or Sunday. Details will follow soon here.
Pickup players: Want to pick up with a team? Need pickup players for your team? Post a message on the forum or send us an email (contact info below).
Party!: Once again, a wicked costume party with a live band and DJ. This year we have a permit to party till 4am! Details here
Costs: player's fee is 55 Euro. There is no team fee. The player's fee includes breakfast (Saturday and Sunday, make your own sandwiches for lunch), dinner (Saturday evening), Friday evening welcome party, Saturday night costume bash with live band, plenty of ultimate and of course lots of sunshine.
Registration: If you want to register fill in this form. You can register until the 15th of Juli.
Money Money Money: Payment is required to confirm your team's place. We will send an email with bank details as soon as you register. The deadline for payment is July 15, 2009. Pay us for an estimated number of players. If you bring a different number of players, we'll settle the difference at the tournament.
Cancellation/refund policy: You can change the number of players on your team at any time - we'll settle the money at the tournament. If you've paid and your team has to cancel (i.e. if you can't bring at least 5 players), then the following refund policy applies:
Cancel on or before July 20, 2009: full refund
Cancel on or before August 10, 2009: 50% refund
Cancel August 11, 2009 or after: no refund
